What Zocdoc states, and what is verified
Their page makes specific claims. Here they are, labeled by source.
Their page states unlimited concurrent calls, 24/7 coverage, booking into your EHR, HIPAA and SOC 2, and that "70% of scheduling calls resolved without human interaction." That last figure is self-reported by Zocdoc and we have not seen it independently verified.
Their published testimonials are multi-site groups, including Schweiger Dermatology and SINY Dermatology. That is a signal about who the product is built around: larger, multi-location practices rather than a two-clinician office.
Independent reviews of Zo are scarce as of August 2026. We say that plainly because it cuts both ways: it means this comparison is useful, and it means neither of us can point you at neutral third-party evidence.

When Zocdoc Zo is the better choice
Two clear cases, and they cover a lot of practices.
Your acquisition already runs through Zocdoc. If new patients find you on the marketplace, a phone assistant that plugs into that same funnel and books into your EHR is a shorter path than adding an unconnected vendor.
Per-booking economics fit your volume. Under roughly 400 AI-completed bookings a month, $2 each is less than our smallest tier. If most of your call volume is not booking-shaped, that is the case to examine closely.
